web DESIGN

After five years of on-the-ground-work with 20 leading cities to create and implement customized, high-impact energy efficiency policies and programs, the Institute for Market Transformation and the Natural Resources Defense Council enlisted the help of She Wolf to create the City Energy Project Resource Library.

With the goal of creating a curated set of resources containing the necessary blueprints for city governments to craft and implement customized building energy efficiency solutions,
She Wolf distilled an all-encompassing inventory of resources, best practices, and do’s and don’ts.

What we do

Over the course of two years, She Wolf led a team of technical advisors, city staff, and designers in the creation of over 40 individual resources focused on the ins-and-outs of crafting and running city-wide building energy (and water) efficiency policies and programs. Working in tandem with IMT and NRDC leadership and technical staff, She Wolf provided analysis and recommendations of what resources are needed by cities across the nation to advance energy efficiency policies in buildings. She Wolf completed an inventory of 8,000 resources, prioritized the review of 500, and distilled this information into 40 best practice guides, how-to’s, and city examples. Hosted as a Resource Library, the new City Energy Project website since launching, has spurred an increase of website traffic (gaining 12,000 page views in just 2 months – surpassing the previous year by 8,000).
